A full English translation could create ambiguity before it has been separately reviewed. The German privacy notice explains the controller, website access and server logs, self-hosted analytics including sampled session replay and heatmaps, contact and whitepaper requests, newsletter double opt-in, optional newsletter integrations, local preferences, recipients, data-subject rights, security, and retention. Please use the German version for any legal or compliance check.
For a published whitepaper, your email address is required and your company is optional. We store the provided details with the requested article, language, request time and email delivery time in our own communication service. We use these details to email the download link and keep a record of the request. Newsletter signup is a separate, optional choice and is not required for the download. If you opt in, we record your choice, its time and the consent version and use the existing email confirmation process. If the optional Notion integration or the internal Microsoft Teams notification is enabled in operation, the request details (email, company if provided, requested whitepaper, language, request time and newsletter choice) are also transferred there for internal follow-up. The German notice describes the processing and retention of these requests and newsletter subscriptions.
